Why You Shouldn't Wait Till You're Ready

Internet Marketing Tip: Why You Shouldn’t Wait Till You’re Ready

Are you waiting around? For something to happen, and for you to start doing things.

Well, don’t do that. Here’s one of the best internet marketing tip I can give you. In this post I share why you shouldn’t be waiting around BEFORE you’re ready.

Why You Shouldn’t Wait Till You’re Ready

When I got started I wasn’t ready for anything.

There’s literally nothing I’ve ever done that I wasn’t fully prepared for.

My Experience With Internet Marketing

I remember, a marketing buddy and I started internet marketing. We both bought a high-ticket program and we had no idea what to do.

We were like, “What do we do?”

They gave us all the promotional material, yet we had no clue how to promote the program.

We had no idea what to do, but we still bought the program. And eventually we figured things out and actually made a profit. It was a cool feeling.

But there’s really nothing in my life I wasn’t ready for.

The Successful keep Moving Forward

I can tell you with confidence that the people that do the most online aren’t ready for anything.

They simply keep moving forward.

They get started and figure things out as they go along. They don’t let anything hold them back.

The person that says “My logo doesn’t look right. My writing isn’t good enough. My video isn’t professional.” And so on. They end up doing nothing.

Because there will always be something to do and yet they overthink things to much.

Blogging

I remember an event I attended and I’m sitting in the audience. I had been blogging for 6 months. I wasn’t anyone special. I was just there to learn and to network with people.

An internet marketer gets up on stage and says “People, you should be blogging and it doesn’t have to be perfect. Just look at Neil Patel‘s blog.”

I was thinking “What did he mean by that?”

And he responds straight after and says “It’s not exactly the prettiest site on the web.”

I was just puzzled by that remark.

It took a good couple of years to understand what he meant by that. But in time, I understood.

See his point was to start blogging and work on branding as we go along. If we worry and try to perfect everything, then we end up doing nothing and not creating content.

My first few blog post had poor spelling and grammar. And my first few blog posts didn’t really rank in the search engines all that well.

But I just kept posting to my blog and got better and better.

Your Time Is Precious

All you have is now and in time you’ll get better like me. Growth happens overtime. Not in a few weeks but in months and in years.

And you’ll never be ready until you decide to just get started.

It’s not “I’m going to start next week, or in a month from now.” You won’t start by thinking like that.

Remember, just get started and figure things out as you go along.
