Do you want more leads?
Here I share 5 lead generating tips that relates to lead capture pages and web traffic that can help you out.
5 Lead Generating Tips
#1. The Purpose of a Lead Capture Page
Lead capture pages are designed to capture an email address. Nothing more, and nothing less.
It’s NOT for a business presentation.
If you’re making your pages like this, then this is properly why prospects are not opt in. They can see no reason to opt in. Big mistake. And not to mention, your scaring them off.
You will lose leads if you don’t speak to their wants, desires, and pain points. So be on point and deliver the benefits in your headline and copy.
#2. The Purpose of a Sales Funnel
Short and sweet.
The purpose of a sales funnel is to present a offer to the prospect in a predictable way that leads to making a purchase. It is to educate, build trust, build brand awareness, and create potential income.
Your sales funnel should ALWAYS be presenting an offer after the prospect opts in. Not the other way round. In other words, the back-end of your sales funnel.
Does that make sense?
#3. Be Concise
I see way too many people with 30 to 90 minute videos in their sales funnel, business presentations, etc. This is overkill. It’s way too much information.
Condense your information as much as possible and deliver maximum value at the same time.
For example, tell prospects what it is you do, how it works, what it can do for them, what they can get out of it, and so on.
And don’t forget to have clear calls to actions.
#4. Make The Offer Match The Traffic
This is crucial.
If your target audience is weight loss, don’t promote a make money online offer if your talking about weight loss.
Again, if your target audience is a business opportuntiy seeker, then they will not be interested in a list building tool.
This is the biggest mistake I see people make. So, ALWAYS match your offer accordingly and think about how it relates to the traffic.
#5. Have a Mobile Responsive Page
Mobile is the new thing so make sure your pages are formatted for mobile devices.
How can you tell if it is mobile responsive?
The easiest way to check is to look at the page on a mobile device. Is it formatted to the point that the text is readable without having to scroll or zoom in/out? If yes, it’s likely mobile responsive.
And that’s it!
If you’re getting less than desired results with your marketing, please go thru the points above. Perhaps there is one item in this list that can change your business for the better.
